About the role:
We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Warehouse Technician at our North Goonyella mine. Our North Goonyella mine is an underground longwall mine located 160 kilometres west of Mackay producing a premium quality, high strength coking coal for export markets.

In this role you will ensure efficient operation of the warehouse and inventory management to support adequate supply of parts to the maintenance and operations team.

Duties will include:

• Unloading and loading freight
• Accurate data entry into the SAP
• Daily receipting of deliveries and issue of parts
• Ensuring that the warehouse areas are kept clean and tidy
• Responsible for the completion of stock takes, issuing of inventory items
• Support Corporate Supply Chain Management in the roles of warehouse matters

The lifestyle:
This position is offered on an even time roster 7 on 7 off (dayshift only at this stage with a possible later move to day/night rotating) and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.

About you:

The successful candidate must have a current Driver's License and Forklift Ticket along with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Storeperson within the mining industry. The following skills are also required:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• SAP experience
• Demonstrated history of providing high level customer service
