Clough has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join the Procurement Team in Perth! In this role, you will be the procurement focal point for all Supply Chain Management (SCM) and effectively provide management level SCM support on assigned projects or allocated areas of functionality. Key to this role is to ensure project supply chain management is delivered within budget and project schedule requirements.

Your focus will include:

  • Establish Project Procurement set-up jointly with SCM Functional Management.
  • Create Supply Chain strategies in conjunction with the Project Management Team & SCM Functional Management.
  • Develop project specific SCM procedures and/or documents.
  • Carry out necessary sourcing research to determine which materials/equipment may be available locally, nationally and internationally (as required).
  • Oversees the preparation and updating of Bidders lists, issue of RFQ's, Commercial Bid Evaluations and RFA process.
  • Development of Subcontract tenders, tender support, adjudication and award.
  • Identify any applicable tariff concessions for items being procured directly from countries where no Free Trade Agreement is in place and establish any additional costs for applicable import duties.
  • Establishes the Material Control process and methodologies to control and report on equipment and materials requirements through to project completion.
  • Create resource requirements in Workday and manage recruitment process in collaboration with HR and SCM Functional Management for additional project hire resources.
  • Identify project budget for all equipment and materials in conjunction with Project Cost Controller and manage/report on procurement forecast spent Vs budget.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Degree qualified or other professional qualifications such as Diploma or Certificate in a related subject matter combined with significant practical experience on EPC projects.
  • A min. 10 years' experience in a similar role in O&G, Mining, Construction/Engineering environment.
  • Proven hands-on management of major high-value equipment packages.
  • Demonstrated understanding of commercial teams and ability to negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Proven experience in managing and allocating workloads across the project SCM teams.
  • Ability to create strong working relationships with Suppliers for the projects.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, able to switch between high-focus tasks and organize your time in a way that allows you to complete multiple tasks of different nature throughout the day.
