About the Projects:

Saipem Australia has been awarded three projects: Firstly, the Offshore Installation Contract by Chevron Australia for the transportation and installation activities of the Jansz Io development. Secondly, the Offshore Installation Contract by Woodside for the coating, transportation, and installation of the trunkline, at a maximum water depth of 1400 m, including the fabrication and installation of the line structures and of the pipeline end termination in 950-m water depth. Lastly, JV have been chosen for the development of Perdaman Industries’ urea plant on the Burrup Peninsula approximately eight kilometers from Dampier and twenty kilometers northwest of Karratha on the north-west coastline of Western Australia.

About the role

Saipem Australia is seeking a professional and dedicated General Services on the Projects.

Reporting to HR Manger, you will provide general services and organizational support to the Project / Client Management as in order to meet business needs.

The position will initially be a 12-month contract with options to extend. The role will be based at our head office in West Perth with easy access to public transport.

Key Accountabilities

• Capability to support the employee in the arrangement of accommodation/guest house, business international/local travels, handling also complex itineraries for long period through various countries;
• Coordinate on reporting on General Services;
• Assisting with any transfers for employees from Perth airport to hotel and vice versa;
• Liaising with travel agent making sure they book correct flights and accommodations;
• Ensure the fulfilment and approval of travel in Falcon;
• Coordinate on reporting on General Services;
• Manage general Services annual costs and relevant budget;
• Monitoring and communication with payroll regarding amounts to be recouped from employees;
• Issue purchase requests and work orders for goods and other materials necessary for general services;
• Office Management;
• Ensure employee accommodation and Health insurances are organized in a timely manner; and
• Other duties as required by HR team. 

Professional Qualifications 

• 3-5 years in a similar role in the construction/oil and gas industry;
• Experience working in a project environment;
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems and tools; and
• SAP Knowledge but not essential;
