An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced individual to join our high performing finance team based in West Perth.  Reporting to the General Manager of Finance, and working collaboratively with the broader management team, you will lead a team of nine direct reports and will provide valuable finance support to the Chief Executive Officer on a business and personal level. 

This role encompasses all aspects of the financial accounting cycle covering; monthly management accounts for Satterley’s various entities, reviewing Board papers, cash flow management, management reporting, statutory and taxation compliance, management of the payroll and AP/AR function, managing the annual audit program, and coordinating the group’s insurance requirements.  It is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a keen eye for process, efficiency, and accuracy, as well as a passion for continuous improvement and driving positive change. 

To be considered for this role you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and will be CPA or CA qualified.  You will have 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role with demonstrated skills in financial management, taxation, legal and audit compliance.  You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, and will have the ability to build, develop and motivate a cohesive and efficient finance team.  Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential as is your ability to communicate effectively and build strong internal relationships. 

Experience in the property development industry and exposure to Timberline accounting software will be well regarded.
