About the role

As an experienced Masters Draftsperson & Building Designer, you will strive for operational excellence within an experienced team, preparing and updating master drawings for construction purposes, while ensuring drawings are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard. Responsibilities include;

  • Creation and maintenance of drawing templates, team training for use of theses templates and maintenance of the drafting manual.
  • Creation of the master drawing files utilizing and managing offshore support and keeping up to date records of works completed for the operations team.
  • Liaising with professional consultants and key suppliers to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Consistent communication with Operations and Construction teams
  • Provide assistance to develop new product within the range and work on special projects as required
  • Liaise with the larger operations team throughout a number of departments

About you

At Glenvill we believe quality is an attitude not an outcome.

We anticipate that you will already possess a high level of acumen with AutoCAD software and across the Microsoft suite -Outlook, Word, and Excel. 

  • Our Townhomes brand operates within the Medium Density / Superlot space and a min of 4-5 years of residential drafting experience will be required
  • Experience with the Small lot housing code is preferable but not essential  
  • Good knowledge of Rescode, NCC and Australian Standards

High Drafting ability in AutoCAD - Competency with software -  Ability to deal with people on a professional basis -  Strong work ethos -  Time management skills - Perseverance and resilience - Problem solving skills - Ability to build rapport - Confidence in dealing with multiple issues at the same time - Commitment to Glenvill values, beliefs and behaviors – Reliability - Attention to detail - Good communication skills.
