About Us: Holroyd Private Hospital is a 48-bed surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation Hospital located in Guildford. The hospital comprises of 3 theatres. Specialities include and are not limited to Ophthalmology, General, Bariatric and Plastic Surgery. Position Overview: We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Perioperative Registered Nurses or Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our surgical team, part time/ casual.

The successful applicants will have experience in either Ophthalmology Scrub, General Scrub, Scout, Anaesthetics, Recovery. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe delivery of surgical procedures, collaborating closely with Senior Manager, Surgeons, Anaesthetists, and fellow Nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ophthalmology Scrub Nurse: Assist in ophthalmic surgeries, maintaining sterile fields, preparing instruments, and providing direct patient care.
• General Scrub Nurse: Scrub into various surgical procedures, ensure proper instrumentation, and anticipate surgeons' needs.
• Scout Nurse: Responsible for preparing the operating room, ensuring proper equipment setup, and assisting the surgical team during procedures.
• Anaesthetic Nurse: Assist anaesthetist in various anaesthesia techniques, monitor patient vital signs, and provide pre- and post-anaesthesia care.
• Recovery Nurse: Oversee patients' recovery from anaesthesia, manage post-operative care, and ensure patients' comfort and safety.

Qualifications:

• Full registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum of 2-year experience in perioperative nursing.
• Demonstrated expertise in respective roles (Ophthalmology Scrub, General Scrub, Scout, Anaesthetic, Recovery).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.

What We Offer:

Pay scale $37.00-$48.00. Registered Nurse

                  $30.00- 36.00. Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
