Westgate Community Initiatives Group Ltd. (WCIG) is an established, not for profit organisation that is committed to creating practical responses to unemployment and disadvantage across Melbourne and Geelong. Our mission is to empower people to achieve a meaningful role in society.
Our Disability Employment Services (DES) program provides tailored employment and education support to assist people in overcoming barriers to employment (such as illness, injury, or disability) to prepare for, find and maintain employment. Our DES team works towards the same, purpose-led goal of improving lives through dignity and choice.
The result of this mindset speaks for itself: due to ongoing program growth, we have a newly created opportunity for an Employment Consultant to join our DES team in Sunshine on a permanent full-time basis. Prior experience in a similar role will be highly regarded but is not essential.
