Focus on Laurimar is a fullscope independent practice where the focus is on our patients to provide them with tailored eyecare solutions. We use the latest in technology to ensure we can provide our patients with a comprehensive eye examination aiding in the early detection of eye disease. We offer our patients a wide variety of eyewear from high end designer to those that will suit the more budget conscious patient.

As a Trainee/Optical Dispenser you will be equipped with all the tools to assist patients through their eyewear journey, focusing on helping them to maintain their most precious sense – their sight - while being comfortable and looking great in the process. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be one of the first points of contact when our patients enter the practice, making this role especially important. 
Day to day duties will include:

• initial enquiries/ bookings
• frame selection and ordering
• collections/ adjustments
• coordinating with the optometrist

The successful candidate will be supported to undertake a Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing while working in the practice.

This role will see you working approximately 22 hours per week including some Saturday work.
