About the role
The Senior Cloud Security Consultant will design and oversee the implementation of cloud security solutions such as CSPM, CNAPP or CIEM. The role is also responsible for leading the security assessment of a client’s existing cloud environment (Azure, AWS or GCP) and workloads, making recommendations to improve their security posture and reduce security risks.

Day-to-day you will:

• Work with our clients to design and deliver cloud-based security solutions (either native security controls or third-party CSPM, CNAPP or CIEM solutions)
• Lead the risk assessment of the client’s existing cloud security services, workloads, or solutions in line with relevant industry standards or frameworks, making recommendations to improve the client’s security posture.
• Act as a subject matter expert to CyberCX’s clients advising them on cloud solutions and cloud security best practice, assisting them to secure their cloud environments.
• Prepare and present high-quality deliverables (written or verbal). For example, presentations, pre-sales proposals, assessment findings, recommendations, and strategies.
• Manage and coach junior staff to deliver engagement outcomes.
• Aid internal research and development, practice capability building, innovation and process improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate strong alignment with CyberCX values to peers and customers.

About You

• Minimum of 5 years of experience dealing with a diverse range of information / cyber security projects and challenges.
• Experience with any of the following technologies:
• Azure or AWS environments (certifications preferred)
• Cloud Networking architecture, routing, ACLs, load balancing
• Containers and Kubernetes
• Cloud storage, encryption, and access management
• Cloud security visibility, firewalling, WAF, certificates, key management
• Cloud logging and monitoring either cloud native or third-party.
• Design and Implementation of third-party cloud security solutions such as CSPM, CNAPP, CIEM, or DevSecOps solutions.
• Cloud security certification and/or cloud vendor certifications preferred.
