About the role
The Cloud Security Engineer, within the Cloud Security team of the Cloud Security & Solutions Practice, is responsible for implementing cloud security solutions such as CSPM, CNAPP or CIEM, ensuring that projects are delivered to a high-quality in line with our client’s business requirements. The role is also responsible for the security assessment of a client’s existing cloud environment (Azure, AWS or GCP) and workloads, making recommendations to improve their security posture and reduce security risks.

Day-to-day you will:

• Work with our clients to deliver cloud-based security solutions (either native security controls or third-party CSPM, CNAPP or CIEM solutions)
• Risk assesses the client’s existing cloud security services, workloads, or solutions in line with relevant industry standards or frameworks, making recommendations to improve the client’s security posture.
• Contribute to high-quality deliverables (written or verbal). For example, presentations, pre-sales proposals, assessment findings, recommendations, and strategies.
• Demonstrate strong alignment with CyberCX values to peers and customers.

About You

• Minimum of 2 years of experience dealing with a diverse range of information / cyber security projects and challenges.
• Experience with any of the following technologies:
  • Azure or AWS environments (certifications preferred)
  • Cloud Networking architecture, routing, ACLs, load balancing
  • Cloud storage, encryption, and access management
  • Cloud security visibility, firewalling, WAF, certificates, key management
  • Cloud logging and monitoring either cloud native or third-party.
• Experience with third-party cloud security solutions such as CSPM, CNAPP, CIEM, or DevSecOps solutions.
• Cloud security certification and/or cloud vendor certifications preferred.
