Part-Time (0.4) Maternity Leave Learning Support Teacher (Terms 1-3, 2024)
Scone Grammar School is looking for a Part-Time (0.6), Permanent and a Part-Time Maternity Leave (T1-3, 2024) Learning Support Teacher for our Secondary School commencing 24 January 2024.
The roles could be considered separate or together to make a Full-Time role for Terms 1 to 3, 2024. Experience with secondary school students could be an advantage.

Role Description, Skills and Abilities:
The Learning Support Teacher is a role encompassing responsibility for the curriculum and teaching of students in the Senior School.
This role requires the ability to collaborate and actively engage in faculty, whole school, and community initiatives. You should have a strong commitment to pastoral care and participation in extra-curricular activities.
Understanding and practice in planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality learning experiences and possess active listening skills to build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Creating an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse students is a key aspect of this role. You should have strong organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Criteria
The successful applicant will possess or willingness to obtain the following: NSW Working with Children Check, Drivers Licence and undertake a pre-employment National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes) and will be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our SGS team. Applicants will be screened for appropriate child protection purposes as we are a Child Safe School.
