Project Manager - Civil

Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market.

IMC Civil is on the hunt for a dynamic Civil Project Manager to join our team. You can choose between an 8/6 or a 2/1 roster, making it convenient for your lifestyle. Our projects include bulk earthworks, tailings dam construction, and haul road construction at premier client sites across WA.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage site plant and labour resources in line with project schedules.
  • Oversee health, safety, training, and environmental management.
  • Take charge of internal commercial reporting and project controls.
  • Prepare construction programs and contract packages.
  • Keep project costs in check.
  • Plan and execute civil construction works effectively.
  • Monitor project progress through costings and forecast reports.
  • Foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.  
 About You:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Previous exposure to Tailings and Haul Road Construction.
  • Experience in the WA mining environment within a contracting organisation.
  • Previous Project Management experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database systems.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
  • A current police clearance.
