Clinical Pharmacist - Full-time/Part-time 

Optimal Medication Solutions provides Medication Management Services to Aged Care Facilities and community clients within Western Australia.

Optimal Medication Solutions is a Pharmacy with a difference, whilst we are a PBS Approved Pharmacy, we don’t have the distractions of a regular retail pharmacy.

Being qualified as a Clinical Pharmacist whilst of itself an excellent academic achievement, is the relatively easy part. 

The people we are seeking to become part of our clinical team at Optimal Medication Solutions must have the passion to go the extra distance and provide superior care and problem solving to the residential aged care facilities we service and support our HMRs in our Optimal Pharmacy Plus stores.

You need to be excellent in producing concise reports and medication reviews that lead to better health outcomes.

Part of your role is to provide vaccination services to residents and team members at our residential aged care facilities and it is essential to have current immunisation status including Influenza and Covid. 

You will be provided with the best resources, including Medscope the pre-eminent clinical review software and QUMulus which produces benchmarking reports ranging from an organisational up to national level.

Peer collaboration is provided with regular monthly clinical team meetings and we are proud to have our clinical team led and mentored by Debbie Rigby who has received many awards including the PSA Pharmacist of the Year, the inaugural AACP Consultant Pharmacist of the Year, PSA Gold Medal Award, SHPA Clinical Pharmacy Award and was the first female to be awarded the PSA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020.
