Team Leader Civil Infrastructure
An opportunity to provide leadership to a large and diverse team whilst playing an integral role in the enhancement of our civil infrastructure operations and delivery of services to our community.
We’re seeking an experienced, highly driven and personable leader who has a passion for all things civil maintenance and construction. In this role, you will plan and deliver civil work schedules in line with service levels, manage and oversee contractors and budgets, and lead a large and diverse team (approximately 20 reports) in undertaking a wide range of construction and maintenance work including, but not limited to, general labouring, sealed and unsealed roads, footpaths, storm water maintenance and construction to achieve operational excellence and the contemporary delivery of Council services in a financially and environmentally sustainable manner.
Your positive nature and great communication skills will foster a responsive and enthusiastic team culture and ensure a high level of customer service is delivered. This varied role will see your effective planning, resourcing, development, delivery and supervision of civil infrastructure services fulfill council’s service levels, safety requirements and community expectations.

This is a full-time, permanent position offered at General Officer Level 6/7 $97,565 – 113,592 p.a. (commensurate with experience) + commuter use vehicle under our Municipal Salaries Officers Enterprise Agreement 2022.
