About the position

We are looking for a full-time Certificate III or Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator for immediate start to join our Exceeding rated service in Chippendale in Sydney CBD.

Remuneration

We pay up to 35% above the modern award (dependent on qualifications and years of experience) and have exceptional conditions of employment as part of an Enterprise Agreement. 

What are we looking for

The position would suit a warm, kind and energetic educator who enjoys working collaboratively with children as they unfold and thrive as curious learners. You will have knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and experience documenting children's learning on Storypark.  

You will be skilled in building strong relationships with families and be confident in sharing information on a daily basis. You will understand the importance of collaborative relationships with children, work respectfully as a team member, have well rounded communication skills and be committed to going above and beyond with curiosity and an openness to learning.

Skills / qualifications / experience

To be considered for these position, you must meet the following selection criteria:

• Certificate III qualified (at a minimum)
• Approved and current first aid qualification; CRP, anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management certificates
• Working with Children Check clearance
• Child Protection Qualification
• Understanding of child protection responsibilities as a mandatory reporter and child safe principles
• Commitment to a safe work environment
• COVID-19 vaccinated
