The Workforce Planning and Talent Development Branch (WPTD) is a part of the People, Culture and Governance Division, and is responsible for planning, developing, facilitating and evaluating workforce, culture and talent strategies across the NSW health system, to improve health outcomes for the people of NSW. In collaboration with national and state agencies and other stakeholders, WPTD aims to establish a clear picture of the health workforce now and into the future to improve workforce supply and distribution.

What you'll be doing
The Manager Workforce Intelligence is responsible for leading and shaping workforce analytics and insights for the health cluster; leading workforce performance data analysis, monitoring and reporting, and providing the NSW public health system with reliable workforce data and analysis to support evidence-based decision making. This role provides specialist knowledge in workforce intelligence, data analytics, and insights to the Senior Executive and Ministers. This role works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and stakeholders across NSW public health agencies to develop strategic workforce intelligence utilizing predictive analytics.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
