About the Role

The Community Engagement Coordinator will develop productive working relationships with health consumers in the Murrumbidgee community to ensure active participation in various activities. This position will be responsible for supporting best practice community engagement across MPHN including the coordination and support of our region’s Local Health Advisory Committees (LHACs).

Essential Criteria:  

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in stakeholder and community engagement.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in stakeholder engagement, including co-design and consultation activities
• Experience and demonstrated ability to confidently engage in group facilitation of people with a diverse range of stakeholder interests
• Experience and/or understanding of working with volunteer groups and partner agencies.
• Knowledge and understanding of IAP2 spectrum of public participation.

Desirable: 

• Understanding of the health system

Base Salary: $83,778.04 to $87,467.35 annum plus superannuation
