An exciting opportunity exists to join our Sydney based team as a  Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Specialist. This role provides Business Intelligence support to the wider business and contributes to various BI projects.

Main Responsibilities:

BI Operations:

• Support data collection, cleaning, and transformation tasks to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
• Assist business units to create and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
• Provide user training on business intelligence tools, applications, and processes to enhance data literacy across the organization.
• Address user inquiries related to business intelligence tools and practices.

Project Support

• Contribute to business intelligence projects by managing data gathering, analysis, and report generation.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including requirements, scope, and progress updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data-related requirements and ensure project objectives are met.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong technical aptitude and experience in a similar role.
• Basic understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Significant experience with data analysis concepts and tools is a plus (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
