What's involved –

• The Principal Advisor–Safety and Wellbeing is the Central West Hospital and Health Service key specialist advisor on all matters that fall within the span of responsibility for Safety and Wellbeing within the Workforce portfolio.
• The accountability spans the core health and safety systems and practice, rehabilitation of employees from work and non-work-related injuries and effective return to work strategies and strategic development.
• The role has overarching responsibility for ensuring the Central West Hospital and Health Service continuously improves its capability and capacity in health and safety management and practice, and the focus is on achieving optimal performance and outcomes.
• To provide strategic advice and support ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policy that will foster and enable increased organisational performance, continuous improvement and employee engagement.
