SMW Group Fabrication & Engineering is a proud Central Queensland provider of maintenance and emergency repair / rebuild services. We have over 10 years' experience servicing the Central Queensland region.
We currently have a number of exciting projects underway including new builds, heavy equipment repairs and structural manufacturing with continuous ongoing work.
We are seeking a highly experienced Fabrication Supervisor (Boilermaker) to work in a first class workshop facility at Parkhurst in Rockhampton. Successful candidates MUST possess over 5 years post trade experience, have extensive supervisory experience working with heavy fabrication as well as a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Successful applicants MUST possess:
Trade qualification as a Boilermaker
Qualified Welding Supervisor to AS2214
Excellent work ethic & highly reliable with strong drive to get jobs completed safely on time and on budget.
Excellent Communication skills.
Must be able to accurately read drawings.
Strong commitment to Safety and Quality requirements.
Must be familiar with Microsoft suites and have used company systems previously.
