Based in our Oakleigh office in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne we have an opportunity for a
Resource Consultant to join our growing thriving and reputable team.
This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our internal managers, team leaders and clients. The role will focus on delivering talented and technical personnel. You will engage with senior leaders to forecast and deliver to the business recruitment needs and source candidates that align with the organisations values, culture and technical needs. Your approach to staffing will be proactive and use a range of strategies to identify and attract high quality and skilled applicants.
The Role:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with team leaders, candidates, and clients
- Write and post job adverts - local and oversees
- Pre-screening for technical and non-technical candidates over the phone and face to face interviews
- Conducting reference checks for successful candidates
- Writing correspondence and non-successful letters/emails
- Updating and maintaining the database and candidate files
- Support to our team leaders and managers
- Directly liaise with our clients and support the business development team when required
- Ability to source and negotiate with high end technical roles
- Adhere to Australian Award Regulations and make recommendations to management accordingly
- Raise contracts, complete new starter checklists and ensure new employee are set up
What you need:
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to multitask and follow procedure
- Superb organisation and time management skills
- Sound commercial skills with the presence and confidence to influence
- The ability to persevere and persist when roles to fill can be challenging
