Balpara is based in Oakleigh in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We have an exciting entry level Traineeship opportunity for individuals to join our growing, thriving, and reputable team.
This traineeship spans across multiple divisions, you will learn all about the power industry, be exposed to how underground power cables are laid, learn the significance of overhead power lines, surveying, 3D scanning & modelling and record that information into AutoCAD drafting.
The Opportunity:
- Taking underground as- constructed measurement in the field
- Drafting on AutoCAD the collected details from your site visits
- Balance of the great outdoors and in the office
- All personal protective equipment will be provided, a vehicle to travel to and from sites and a mobile phone when needed.
- Power Up Program, this program is designed to enrich and accelerate your traineeship. The Power Up Program allows you to be recognised accordingly to your accelerated contribution to the team during your first year, where you will be acknowledged once you hit certain milestones.

You will need to be:
- Enthusiastic
- Hungry to learn
- Meticulous, tech savvy and
- Show an interest in the electrical power industry.
Beyond your traineeship, this role opens the door for you to explore the Power industry with our multiple divisions to draft and design and mentor up-and-coming trainees.
