North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We're also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.

• Managing the end-to-end design review processes across a specified delivery package, including the continual review and investigation of project designs, the closing out of design comments and review of design reports for completeness, compliance to requirements, standards, and constructability.
• Leading client-side supervision of the Alliance, ensuring that quality standards are met, and project milestones are achieved within the negotiated time, budget and scope whilst ensuring that all non-compliant documentation is resolved or escalated to the Design Manager in a timely manner.
• Providing subject matter expertise on the end-to-end engineering design process including all aspects of master planning, cost estimation and the detailed design process, ensuring to pre-empt, communicate and mitigate potential risks and develop innovative design solutions whilst communicating recommendations and influencing outcomes within a cross-functional team environment.

Reporting to the Design Manager, this position will empower you to oversee and review packages of work and the engineering components therewithin from a design perspective. You will be a subject matter expert, utilising your knowledge of service authority and Austroads guidelines when providing high level technical advice to project team members and Design Managers.

Your foresight and ability to mitigate project risks from a design perspective will see you thrive in this role. You will partner with the managing contractor, a team of project managers and wider project teams in a cross-functional environment to ensure that design considerations meet project needs.
