Positioned at the forefront of Western Australian resources industry's decarbonisation pathway, we are now seeking an engineer to support our clients reduce costs as they commence decarbonization by 2030. Drawing upon a technical and design foundation, this role will provide broad exposure to project development and client consultation, providing a rich and rewarding opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role:

  • Undertake energy load and generation assessments in accordance with best industry practice, including data quality control, energy yield analysis and layout design
  • Develop and review decarbonisation related work programs, energy production simulation models
  •  Supervise project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, standards and quotes from suppliers
  • Conduct technical research, gather data, and perform analyses to support project decision-making 
  • Contribute to technical risk assessment and mitigation efforts, identifying potential issues and proposing appropriate solutions
  • Assist in managing project documentation, including drawings, contracts, change orders, and project correspondence
  • Support the evaluation and selection of suppliers and subcontractors, 
  • Consult on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and relevant regulations to support client project improvements
  • Develop reports, proposals and assessments to meet all relevant standards and industry best practices
  • Develop project management opportunities and build project management expertise through training and mentoring activities
  • Complete high-quality engineering design and ensure appropriate third-party due diligence 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of engineering qualification or similar discipline
  • Project development experience in energy and renewables sectors
  • Excellent Communication skills – both written and verbal and the ability to consult at senior management levels
  • Passion for the resources, energy and decarbonisation sectors
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team to achieve high-quality, cost-effective outcomes for clients
