As our new Mechanical Engineer, you will:

• Enhance, maintain, and execute New Product Introduction and Engineering Change Management processes
• Contribute to all aspects of the mechanical design of the electromechanical systems and products being developed and during the product lifecycle, ensuring all components are fit for purpose
• Collaborate broadly across R&D, product management, manufacturing and the service team to understand project requirements, design objectives and provide technical guidance 

Our ideal candidate:

• 4-5 years of strong experience, ideally having delivered 3-4 projects 
• Relevant tertiary qualification(s)
• Strong understanding of mechanical design, with good communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts 
• Sound understanding of material selection to meet quality standards and project requirements  
• Hands-on experience using tools such as CAD/CAM, CREO and/or Solidworks
• Background in mining, heavy industry or automotive industry essential
