Mechanical engineering experience is essential, so too a natural ability to work with people. And the capacity to resolve (often complex) issues and deliver results when they count! 

Based in Melbourne your brief will be to grow a portfolio of large and smaller, businesses throughout Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific region.  As a member of  well supported team, you will be responsible for a varied portfolio that will include: 

  • Servicing clients by utilising your technical sales expertise (dealing with tenders, proposals, quotations, reviewing and improving designs, drawings, processes, pricing, purchasing, etc.); 
  • Managing Sales processes (e.g., negotiating contracts, pricing, terms, delivery, targets, visiting assigned customer sites, sourcing new opportunities);
  • Working with a team that sets high standards (ensuring high quality and tight service delivery, addressing technical issues, and promptly solving logistical problems; and ensuring that material (including websites) used by the company is up-to-date;
  • Dealing with people: Customers, Colleagues, Suppliers and prioritising critical communications.
