YOUR NEW OPPORTUNITY 

We are seeking a pro-active Project Engineer (Safety) to join us on a 6-month  maximum term contract.

The responsibilities of this role will encompass planning, implementing and hand over of FGB’s major Safety projects, ensuring compliance with TGA, GMP, OHS and Dangerous Goods requirements.

Working cross functionally in this hands-on and solutions focused role, your responsibilities will include: 

• Project management – liaising with suppliers, contractors, trades and cross functional departments
• Establishing project briefs, plans, dependencies and milestones to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of projects.
• Complying with the legal and ethical standards and the policies, procedures and practices that support daily business conduct at FGB
• Technical, Financial and Project Reporting.
• End-to-end project delivery

TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing projects
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical or Process Engineering or strong practical experience 
• Excellent problems solving skills
• Strong Innovation skills to work through to design solutions
• Experience in performing Risk Assessments
• Experience in supervising contractors
• Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety requirements
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined record keeping
• Solid communication skills both verbal, graphical (drawing) and written
• Energy, drive and passion.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
