Complete a three-year Certificate III Horticultural Traineeship within Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium. Combine on-the-job training at the Adelaide, Mt Lofty and Wittunga Botanic Gardens with off-the-job training at a registered training organisation as agreed by the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium of South Australia. The Horticultural Trainee performs a wide range of ‘trade level’ horticultural activities to a high standard to maintain and develop the Botanic Gardens living plant collections.
