Crew Leader - Building and Maintenance

The Role

We are looking for an innovative and experienced Builder to provide operational and leadership support to the Team Leader, Building and Maintenance.

Our Building and Maintenance Team is part of the broader Works Unit and works together with key stakeholders to deliver first-rate building and facility maintenance and construction activities across a range of community facilities and assets. 

The Crew Leader will deliver quality building and maintenance outcomes through a hands-on contribution and by providing on-the-job supervision, support, and technical advice to a small team of Building and Maintenance Officers.

About You

In addition to being an experienced and qualified Builder, you will be an authentic and reliable 2IC.  Your motivation for this role will be the desire to make a tangible contribution to our community by delivering a 
gold-standard of workmanship.

You will be an approachable, hands-on Leader supporting other members of the team to grow and develop in their craft, helping the team to deliver the program of work efficiently and effectively, whilst pursuing continuous improvements in safety, quality, cost, operational excellence, culture and engagement.
