Our highly motivated team and commitment to quality make Norm Engineering attachments highly sought after products; providing ideal solutions for the earthmoving, mining, construction, landscaping, councils and agricultural industries. 

An opportunity has become available for a Marketing & Design coordinator to join our growing team. 

This can be either a permanent full-time or part time position with an immediate start available. 

This position may suit a 3-4th year university student who is committed to working at least 3 - 4 full days a week and realising their studies through work.

Purpose of the Position

This position is responsible for the entire suite of marketing and design functions of the Company. In this position you will have the opportunity to grow, learn and work with a dynamic team.  Will suit an ambitious young person who thrives on fast paced environments, challenges and is willing to learn the entire suite of company marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help with marketing activities across the business, split across Digital Marketing (40%) and traditional marketing (60%)
  • Plan, create, and schedule monthly social media content
  • Monitor all social media accounts
  • SEO, SEM, and Facebook paid marketing activities
  • Campaign management and strategy development
  • Ability to track and manage agency outputs to enhance our digital marketing capability
  • Produce blogs and newsletters
  • Monthly reporting and budgeting to internal stakeholders
  • Ordering of Promotional products and maintaining stock levels
  • General knowledge of social media platforms
  • Ability to research and stay on top of trends
  • Liaising with B2B and B2C Customer base
  • Flexible, well organised, and most importantly reliable
  • Willingness to think creatively, be proactive and take initiative 
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

To be successful in this position you MUST have:                       

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, can also be still studying.
  • 2+ years relevant experience 
  • Photoshop competence
  • Meta business suite competency
  • Illustrator competence
  • Indesign competence
  • MS Office competency
  • General HTML knowledge
  • Copywriting experience
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Ability to work autonomously

Whilst you can be taught the business principles and responsibilities, you MUST have a solid understanding of marketing principles and the Adobe suite, enabling you to hit the ground running.
