We have an opportunity for a HR Support Officer to be part of our Corporate Services Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.
The HR Support Officer works as part of the HR Support Team within the People & Culture branch and contributes to a high performing and sustainable workforce through the delivery of timely and accurate first line people management advice, customer support and administrative services that support the resolution of customer enquiries and applications and the effective delivery of HR support functions across the department.

The role will have a particular focus on recruitment, contract management and general HR administration including the provision of advice on HR legislation, regulations, policies and procedures and will contribute to the development and implementation of continuous improvement processes and initiatives.

Special Conditions

  • Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.

Requirements

  • Possession of a current driver's licence and willingness to drive.
  • Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be required.

  • You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations when applying for a role.
  • The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government agencies.
  • Desirable: An appropriate qualification is desirable in Human Resources and/or equivalent experience

Remuneration

ASO3 - $66,590 min - $70,968 max per annum plus superannuation
