The Opportunity

To support our ongoing growth BG&E Resources is seeking to engage a Senior Electrical Designer to become part of our Newcastle Team in NSW. As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will be capable of delivering on scopes of work both as a member of the team, and technical expert in in your own right. Your technical ability in delivering electrical design projects including (but not limited to);

• Single Line drawings,
• Schematics,
• Terminations; and
• General arrangements

Is essential to your success in this role as is your deep exposure to electrical design within the mining and minerals processing industries.

About you

• Over 5 years' experience specifically as an Electrical Designer ideally working within the Mining & Minerals industry
• Electrical instrumentation design, conveyor systems, general electrical design
• Experience working a number different projects including both LV and HV design, Substation Layouts, Electrical Distribution Systems, Single Line Diagrams etc.
• Demonstrated experience in AutoCad and Navisworks is required. Experience in Microstation 2D & 3D and Bentley Raceways would be advantageous.
• Strong communication, autonomy and a team player attitude
