The Opportunity:
As a recent graduate, you have a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career with Speedshield Technologies. You will be responsible for electronic design, component selection, sourcing, and firmware development for our commercial offerings. The role encompasses bill of material optimization, schematic and PCB design, product compliance, prototyping, and firmware development on various processor platforms. You'll also be involved in electronic testing and firmware debugging while contributing to cutting-edge industry technology documentation.

We're seeking a flexible, team-oriented individual who is excited about joining a rapidly growing global business. As a recent graduate, you're expected to be self-motivated and willing to share your knowledge and skills to contribute to the company's development and growth.

To be considered for the role, you should have:
  • Electronic Design experience
  • Knowledge of Embedded Systems
  • Familiarity with Switch-mode Power Supplies
  • Understanding of RF communications modules
  • Schematic capture and PCB Layout (Altium)
  • Embedded firmware development, particularly with Espressif Arm Platforms and C/C++
  • Experience with prototype construction and testing
  • An ability to create design documentation
  • Skills in architecture selection, technology evaluation, and BOM cost optimization
  • A relevant degree 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
Preferred, but not required:
  • Knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy
  • Experience in product compliance and design for EMC
  • Familiarity with Linux (embedded) development and driver configuration
  • General multi-platform coding skills in Embedded Linux, Python, Node.js
  • Understanding of Cloud, IoT, and MQTT
  • Knowledge of computer vision algorithms
  • LTSpice simulation skills
  • Familiarity with digital signal processing
