Stantec Gold Coast team are seeking to appoint a Civil Designer in a permanent fulltime position in Carrara office. The role of Civil Designer reporting to the Group Leader will contribute to delivering innovative  solutions in all facets of civil infrastructure and urban development projects in this region.

The role will suit an experienced 12D designer who has worked on civil projects for Councils, Transport Main Roads or private development.

The role

• Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems as well as associated infrastructure)
• Interpreting civil design requirements State Government, Local Government Authorities and private sector clients
• Interfacing with associated disciplines such as planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping
• Interacting with clients regarding project needs ensuring that expert and quality service is delivered
• Collaborating with diverse teams nationally

About you

• Demonstrated civil design experience 
• Relevant qualifications
• Demonstrated experience ideally using12D, however open to Civil 3D
• Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
• A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development
