About the role

With significant growth across our Mining, Energy & Resources business, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced in-house technical advisor to join the Talent Acquisition team in Perth.

You’ll be involved in the complete recruitment life cycle: from internal client briefings, preparing marketing material, talent searching, screening, interviews, preparing the offer letter and employment agreement to ensuring the person’s first few weeks are going well.

Reporting to the Recruitment Lead, you’ll work on a diverse portfolio including engineering, design & technical specialists and more within the mining industry. You’ll be actively involved in implementing innovative and successful ways of sourcing scarce candidates and comfortable working with global recruitment tools and systems.

We need someone who can work autonomously, be comfortable with some ambiguity, develop relationships remotely while working collaboratively as part of the Asia Pacific HR team. Plus you'll have at least 3+ years recruitment experience in the Engineering and / or Mining industry, preferably within a large professional services firm, or with an agency that works closely with them.

Provision of high service levels to internal clients is essential, plus a professional and consultative approach throughout your work. Attention to detail is critical together with strong literacy skills.

This role will see you managing vacancies across all of Australia.  You will be able to take the lead on projects, but likewise also be able come in as support to your colleagues as project work and demands require.
