Qualifications, experience and responsibilities

The Experienced Interior Designer must: 

• have a minimum 4 to 5 years post-qualification experience.
• have a proven track record in delivering interior designs and space planning for workplace projects.
• demonstrate previous experience, preferably in hospitality, commercial, multi-residential, healthcare, and aged care projects.
• understand design trends in the above mentioned sectors. 
• demonstrate leadership and design capabilities to run commercial projects and manage  deliverables in a timely manner.  
• be competent in leading design processes from project inception and through the technical delivery phases.
• have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• be able to prepare and/or assist with interior design project submissions.
• be an excellent communicator and presenter with an ability to work collaboratively in a project team and closely with our clients and colleagues.
• be able to instruct and coordinate consultant teams, and
• have CAD based Revit skills (mandatory).

The opportunity is for a permanent full time position, however a part-time position may be considered.  Future opportunities to become a senior interior designer will be considered for those with a proven capacity to generate new commissions.
