Applications are invited for the position of Workforce Services Support Officer - Personnel, based at Council's Administration Centre. The successful applicant shall contribute to the development and delivery of Council’s personnel support functions. This includes, but is not limited to assisting in the development and delivery of effective recruitment processes, accurate personnel records and systems.

Applicants should address the following selection criteria:

Essential:

Qualifications

• Class C Drivers Licence; and
• Proven ability and satisfactory experience in Human Resources & Work Place Health and Safety Management with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field.

Desirable:

Qualifications

• Commencement, progression and/ or completion of a Human Resources and/or risk management qualification acceptable to the Director Corporate and Economic Services.

Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The classification for the position will be Operational Band 1, Level 4, Grade 7. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1,116.30 to $1,202.13 gross per week.
