OVERNIGHT NURSE ASSIST (EQUINE & SMALL ANIMAL) – Permanent Part-Time
Due to ongoing growth, we are currently recruiting for an Overnight Nurse Assistant to assist the nursing team within the small and large animal sections of the hospital.

Manly Road 24hr Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, multi-faceted Veterinary Hospital located in the beautiful bayside suburb of Manly in Brisbane. We provide General Practice and 24hr Emergency care, as well as a range of pet medical and surgical services including ophthalmology, preventative care, orthopaedics, dental health, ultrasonography, endoscopy, and clinical pathology. Our hospital is well-resourced with equipment and the latest technology to deliver the best in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.
Examples of duties to be performed include:
• Animal Handling
• Administering medication to hospitalised equine patients (Training provided)
• Walking and toileting small animals
• Reception duties – taking phone calls and payments
• Cleaning and Maintenance
Ideal Candidates:
• Suitable for certificate II or Certificate III nurses
• Ability to work 8:00pm to 7:00am shifts
• Experience with horses desired
• Great customer service
• Initiative, ‘can-do’ attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Enjoys being part of a great veterinary team
