An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Graphic Design Assistant (Instore & Windows) to join a dynamic team at Brandbank Group (Seed Heritage, Unison, Commonry, allkinds, kikki.K & FINE-DAY). This role will be responsible for developing and creating finished art of the highest standard and accuracy for all window and visual merchandising elements used both in windows and instore across all brands.
They will also partner with other departments including product teams to design and develop packaging and labelling and marketing to design and develop any marketing collateral for events and instore activations. This role is required to maintain brand identity and consistency across the group.
THE ROLE:
- Research, develop and create artwork and production files in collaboration with the Group Window Concept Manager and Group Production Manager for the following;
- Window concept propping elements for print and production
- Window and instore signage
- Update artwork for all instore campaign images seasonally and maintain master document
- Hoarding and block-out artwork for store openings
- Store fit out elements including window decals, imagery and instore signage
- Product labelling, pricing and product information collateral
- Assist PR/Marketing Department and Brand Art Director on seasonal event and activation collateral
- Assist with visual concepts and artwork for seasonal campaign shoots, including concepts for illustration, graphics and typography
- Design and develop specific event packaging for Christmas, Mothers Day and other targeted events
- Create and circulate store opening documents
- General additional tasks may include, event invitations, Greeting cards, editing photos, personalised stationery, weekly newsletters, Business cards and other stationery requirements
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in Graphic Design
- Proven experience in a Graphic Design position (within retail advantageous)
- Strong knowledge across Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Ability to work across multiple projects and multiple brands simultaneously
- Excellent organisational skills including time management, prioritising, meeting deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Able to support and collaborate with a team working offsite
- Ability to lead freelance team when required
- Strong creative eye and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proven problem solving and decision-making skills
