Status: Permanent, Full Time (1.0 FTE)

Salary range: $67,588.25 - $78,010.92 p.a. dependent on skills, qualifications and experience

The People and Culture Team is looking for an experienced, and enthusiastic individual to take up the role of People and Culture Officer.

This role reports to the People and Culture Facilitator and will see you acting as the first point of contact for all staff at the City of Albany. You will work across diverse portfolios with duties including:

• Running end-to-end recruitments;
• On-boarding new staff members;
• Providing advice, information and support to staff;
• Assisting with organising and running health and wellbeing activities; and 
• Providing administrative support to the People and Culture Team.

To be successful in this role, you will require at a minimum:                               

• excellent interpersonal skills; 
• well-developed computer skills with the ability to pick-up new programs quickly; 
• strong attention to detail;
• the ability to work in a confidential environment; 
• previous experience in a similar position; and 
• basic knowledge of HR practices and principles
