About the Role

We currently have an available position for a talented Management Accountant to join our National Finance team, this role is a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to refine your business partnering skills and contribute to a growing team!

They key responsibilities will include: 

• Key role in assisting with the delivery of management reporting for the overall national business.
• Assist the co-ordination and control of the month end process.
• Assist the control and integrity of financial information, in particular Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Liaise with project managers and staff to provide reports and analysis for projects and business units.
• Provide analysis of business unit reports and assist with business performance commentary.
• Assist in ensuring Lucid Consulting complies with accounting standards.
• Be a key point of contact for finance-related queries.

About You

The successful applicant will seek to support the growth of the Finance function through continuous improvement practices. This role would suit a management accountant with 4+ years of experience within a project environment. 

To be successful in the role it is expected that you will have the following skills: 

• Australian-recognised tertiary degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Completed or working towards CPA CA membership.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MYOB and other financial software.
• Strong internal stakeholder management skills and proven ability in building and sustaining influential and cooperative relationships, both internally and externally, to drive collaboration and project success. 
• Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated experience communicating complex financial information to a range of audiences verbally and/or in the form of high-quality, concise reports and briefs.
• System solutions orientated with a focus on efficiency.
• Proven ability to grasp tasks quickly.
