HR Coordinator

RCT

RCT is looking for a driven HR Coordinator who has a can do attitude, highly organised and has excellent attention to detail. 

RCT is a global Smart Technology company with a long history in the mining and industrial sectors. We are a leading provider of Automation and Control solutions for all mobile equipment in the mining industry and have an extensive range of solutions spanning five sub-brands, all of which deliver our clients increased productivity, profitability and safety. 

As the HR Coordinator you will provide a high level of administration support for recruitment and other HR processes in this highly confidential role.  You will be the first point of contact within the group for all HR enquiries and have a strong focus on delivering an accurate and timely HR service both internally and externally for the group.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

Human Resources:

  • Manage HR enquiries from employees
  • Support HR initiatives and projects
  • Coordinate recruitment process
  • Preparation of employment contracts
  • Maintain employee files and completing on-boarding and administrative work
  • Maintain HR records in various systems
  • Manage RCT’s apprenticeship and graduate intern programs
  • Assist with organising employee training requirements
  • Creating/maintaining new position descriptions and updating existing position descriptions 
  • Assist with developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with payroll administration when required
  • Other generalist HR/administrative as required

Your skills and experience:

  • Qualifications in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a HR environment is desirable.
  • Experience in Kronos would be an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Highly organised and excellent attention to detail
  • Great time management skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and build strong relationships across the group
  • Excellent computer skills including experience in Microsoft word and excel 
  • Ability to adapt positively to change
  • Understanding and knowledge of various Modern Awards, the Fair Work Act, etc 
  • Willingness and drive to research and understand other jurisdictions employment (for example USA and Canada) 
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to change quickly
