• I was a kitchen hand at sushi, helping prepare food and supplies daily. I was also in charge of cleaning and preparing the necessities for the next day. During busy periods such as lunchtime, I was in charge of customer service and the cashier position as I took care of customer orders and inquiries. As a kitchen hand, I also learned teamwork with other staff members, as we pushed through busy times and made sure everything was on point.

• I was a wait staff trainee, during my time working at The Coffee Club. I was a casual worker and worked at the place during busy times. I was working in it when I was younger, due to it being a family business. I was able to learn how to interact with customers, and build bonds with them and seeing them come back to the business often. I was able to learn how to handle conversations, take orders and do cleaning after the day is over. It has provided me with many skills that I still use to today, and some other ones are being able to work in a team and build connections with other staff.
