• • Planning: Collected and consolidated needs and requirements from the client side and worked out a feasible delivery plan within the required time frame (10 months). • Monitoring and Controlling: Repetitively negotiated with clients to update them on the progress, collected feedback, and adapted the development work according to the feedback or any new requirements with Jira and Git for Agile SDLC and DevOps. • Execution: • Collected data from clients and other necessary public resources, and performed data manipulation, including data integration, data warehouse, data cleaning with Excel, AWS cloud, REST APIs, and SQL, dimension reduction, and pre-processing on over 20, 000 labeled and 80, 000 unlabeled music festival data. • Built prediction models for the 10 music festival categories using techniques such as RF, Regex, SVM, LR, K-Means, LDA, KNN, Boosting, Semi-supervised training, assessed and compared models with precision, recall, and F1 score. • Developed recommendation system with PSE MAB, OPSE MAB, and DATS MAB with delayed reward mechanism and evaluated the system with offline evaluation. • Re-weighting the data distribution according to the target label-protected attribute distribution to decrease the negative impact of demographic bias on the model accuracy. • Delivered a champion model built by SVM after clustering and semi-supervised learning with an overall F1 Score of 0.93 and a recommendation system built by OPSE MAB with an accumulated average reward of 0.88. • Hosted the webpage on the cloud with scaling with Redis cache, Amazon S3 bucket, and Docker. • • Reporting: • Improved the classification F1 score from 0.68 to 0.93, running time from 1.47s to 0.26s compared with the baseline model trained with only 20,000 labeled data with KNN. • Increase the audience attraction by 30% with the novel recommendation system. • Presented visualization with JavaScript, Power BI, R shiny, and Tableau and a final report to present project to clients.
